Easter Sunday is nearly here! I searched through all of my bloggie friends‘ latest posts and came up with the best Easter Sunday day of eats that you could ever hope for. Enjoy!

Start off the day with a special breakfast – something chocolatey is really the only option for Easter Sunday!

The blogging world’s pancake queen, Heather at Kiss My Broccoli, whipped up this tempting looking batch of Girl Scout Samoa cookies-inspired pancakes. Serve these on Easter Sunday morning and everyone will be grinning. (They’re vegan and gluten-free, too!)

Then make sure you enjoy a light lunch to save room for the big meal :).

Something light like Jenn at Peas and Crayons’ pasta salad is a great option for a light meal to tide you over to dinner:

Then it’s time for the big meal!

Start the big meal with a bowl of carrot coconut curry soup for an exotic flavour while enjoying a comforting and warm appetizer.

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I think my Chickpea, Carrot and Date Tajine would be perfect as a main meal – and would stick with the Easter Bunny carrot theme we have going on! So enjoy this recipe as your main dish – it’s so rich and satisfying no one will miss the meat! It’s vegan and gluten-free too…

And lastly…dessert, of course! Stick with natural sweeteners and you will enjoy a decadent dessert without the sugar hangover.

Use the sugar-free version of this cookie cup recipe from Chocolate Covered Katie for a no-sugar delicious dessert that’s great to serve to a large crowd as they’re served in individual portions. And who can say no to cookies and ice cream, really? (So Delicious make a great ice cream with coconut milk and sweetened with brown rice syrup). Also, no one will notice the secret ingredient in these cookie cups (chickpeas!).
